MEET MILA

Meet the newest member of our family, Mila (mee-lah) the puppy maltese. She came home with us 2.5 months ago and life hasn't been the same since! She was so tiny when we got her–she was 1.9 pounds and sooo shy! She is now 5 months old, weighing in at 3 pounds and full of soooo much personality. ♡ 

Mike and I are both doggie lovers, when we were engaged we frequently talked about having a dog and couldn't wait to get one together. After being married for only 2 months we quickly developed baby fever and couldn't wait to have a baby, so our whole puppy search was put on hold. (lol)  Well, after trying for 8 months around late fall, Mike gently stated,  "If we aren't pregnant by Christmas, we're getting a dog." Christmas came around and no baby,  sooo we began our puppy search and that is when we found our little Mila. She is my reminder of God's perfect timing and faithfulness.

"Many  are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand." Proverbs 19:21

I desire children especially as Mike and I grow closer together. I desire to be a mommy but I am trusting in his faithfulness, timing and perfect plans. For those of you ladies waiting on the Lord, I say this to myself and to you continue to wait. Wait with a cheerful, joyful and patient heart. Pray earnestly and faithfully, do not covet or complain. God is incredibly good. ♡

"Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait I say, on the Lord." Psalm 27:14

In the meantime take heart for the Lord has you exactly where He wants you–be content in all situations. And always study His word daily. Never stop seeking him or spending time with him. God has to be first in our lives, let us be women who fear the Lord and bring Him honor.
